The Kingfisher flight was on time this time and we were to reach Imphal bang on time. The taxi wallah from Lamka was there waiting for us with Chiin. We were one hour early for the Air India flight from Kolkata to land so we went to Imphal city. The city has not changed much since I last saw except that the sides of the roads in the city are all dug up and a sewage systems are being set up while also expanding the existing roads which were already getting smaller. There a flyover on one side of the ima market and we have to inch our way into the side of the Polo ground. The driver took us to a place where we could as well have our lunch at a typical Meitei Hotel. The places was full and there are people waiting outside when we got a seat and sat down for the meal. The stainless steel plates were the size of the table top of the 'Barista Coffee store at south Delhi.
